Members of the MaMi project participated to the Researchers’ Night event at the University of Latvia

The MMML lab (Laboratory of Magnetic Soft Materials), including members of the MaMi project team, took part in the Researchers' Night 2018 event on September 28 at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Optometry of the University of Latvia in Riga, Latvia. For the event, MMML lab had prepared special demonstrations in the topics of magnetism and microfluidics. Those included magnetic fluids and magnets, macroscopic magnetic particles in external fields and creating edible microfluidic channels from jelly. Demonstrations were complemented with explanations and discussions on current research status, running projects, existing and future applications. The event was running from 18:00 to 23:00 and more that 1000 people visited, despite the rainy and cold weather outside.
