PhD defence of Arvind Arun Dev
On the 15th of July 2022, Arvind Arun Dev (ESR 11) defended his thesis "Flow mechanics in magnetically confined liquid tubes" prepared under joint supervision of prof. Bernard Doudin (CNRS-IPCMS) and prof. Thomas Hermans (UNISTRA). The defence was done in hybrid on-line and in person format. The members of jury were: Nora Dempsey ( Director of Research, CNRS, Institut Néel), Jaap Den Toonder (Professor, , Eindhoven University of Technology) and Wiebke Drenckhan (Director of Research, CNRS, Institut Charles Sadron). Arvind will join Cornell University as a postdoc from November 2022. We wish him all the best!
